Legislative Requirements

ITAGC College will meet all legislative requirements of State and Federal Government. In particular, Workplace Health and Safety, Workplace Relations and Vocational Placement Standards will be met at all times.

Workplace Health and Safety Policy

It is the policy of ITAGC College to conform to Australian Standards, the Workplace Health and Safety Act 1995, Workplace Health and Safety Regulations 1997 and other statutory requirements.  The College will conduct activities in a way that protects the health, safety and welfare of company employees, visitors to our workplace and members of the public and to provide a work environment where minimisation of risks in work practices is actively encouraged.

That requires the commitment and co-operation of all employees with the organization.  Best practice in Workplace Health and Safety (WH&S) management requires consultation between employees performing tasks, their managers and supervisors and WH&S specialists.  The increased level of responsibility of managers and supervisors increased accountability for WH&S. The Safe Workplace Practices Handbook will be made available for each College student.
