ITAGC College celebrated the start of the Mid-year holidays with a final day of golf at the beautiful Lakelands golf course. With many prizes on offer and bragging rights for the next term the competition was hot!!

The weather was perfect and all of the students were in a fantastic mood with two weeks holiday to come. Some of the finest players in Queensland were present and the scoring reflected the talent. There were also quite a few who were there for show....

Maggie Yuan won the day with a magnificent 68 (-4). Maggie now heads off to Utah in the US to take up a well deserved scholarship at Brigham Young University.

She was closely followed by our own Academic Director Shane Wylie with a 70 (-2) and Queensland representative Blake McGrory with a 74, both of whom played with Director Vic Shi.

The day finished with a wonderful dinner in Lakelands clubhouse, full of laughter, tales of woe and some farewell partings. Happiest of the day, had to be our college administrator Vinnie Chen. What was that? Two weeks holiday?? Yippeeee
